Many people use different names to describe this, such as a medium, psychic, intuitive, channel, etc. I am comfortable with working on all of these levels and have described them in more detail below.
PSYCHOMETRY
The method I use primarily is “psychometry,” which means that I connect through physical touch.
When you are in a reading with me, I will ask for your first name, which I write on a piece of paper and hold in my hand, and a digital photo, which I place my hand over. In person, I typically ask to hold hands occasionally to help me connect with your energy.
AUTOMATIC WRITING
I also connect using “automatic writing,” which helps me open my channels.
PSYCHIC TOOLS
I use many other tools as well if I feel it will help, including tarot and oracle cards, pendulums, dowsing rods, and energy work.
In the first few minutes of a reading with me, I use these methods to see what impressions I get before you ask your first question. Often, I can validate something evidential, such as an object next to you, or the essence of the question you came to ask. This gives us both peace of mind before we continue the reading and ask deeper questions.

I share my answers. Every single reading experience is completely different as I simply channel answers based upon what you need to know for your highest and best good.

One of the things I do in a reading suggests new ways to ask questions or reframe how you are asking for answers. Just the process of learning to ask better questions to God / the universe can open amazing doors and synchronicities.
I respect your free will and the free will of others. I will frequently ask you if it is OK if I ask specific questions on your behalf to help you receive clearer answers in your reading.
For example, you may ask if I can break down your desire into many smaller questions about each date, person, location, company, etc. For example, if asking about an issue in love life, instead of focusing endlessly on problems with the current partner, I may ask if I can look into “who is your highest and best partner?” The quality of the questions we ask often yields better results. In other words, we get what we ask for.
My reading style is a mix of psychic intuition with positive results coaching.
It’s not enough for me to just answer a simple question; I also desire to help you move forward with confidence.

How to Prepare for a Psychic Reading
For the most accurate readings, please provide any of the following. These are not required; however, they help me “tune in” to that person, item, animal, or event faster.
- Physical or digital photographs. Please have prepared photos of yourself, other people, pets, or places for distance readings. The best photos are where there is only one person/item/pet per picture. (no group photos)

The accurate spelling of a first name, addresses for reading a location, business name for a business, etc.

Meet me in person at events to hold hands for the strongest connection.
Mediumship: Mediumship is often slower-paced and takes more time and patience than my other psychic readings. If you would like a mediumship reading, please come prepared to focus only on mediumship in your session. Only phone calls, video calls, or in-person readings with a minimum of 30 minutes can be dedicated to a mediumship reading. First names, photos, and items of the people you would like me to connect with are always helpful. I am not able to pull names out of thin air like TV mediums; I usually need a name to start with. Often, other people connected to that person will also come through.
How to Prepare for Energy Work
If you are receiving remote energy work:
- Plan a time and location when you will be completely undisturbed, can turn down the lights, and relax.
- You may want to light a candle, smudge your space, or perform any other ritual to help create a peaceful space.
- You can sit or lie down in any way you choose.
- You can close your eyes during the session. I will hang up the call or end the session if you fall asleep.
- I will send you any details about your session via email, such as what I noticed happening, and messages that came through for you if you fall asleep or prefer not to have a phone call during your session.
If you are attending an in-person energy work session:
- You may choose to dress comfortably, so you can fully relax. Also, removing shoes is requested.
- I have a standard massage table, lined with crystal healing mats underneath. You will be instructed to lie down, fully clothed, under blankets, and your eyes will be gently covered with a crystal healing mat.
- Please wear clothes that are clean and do not smell of smoking or chemical fragrances. The crystal mats beneath the bed absorb toxins and may continue to smell for myself and future clients.
- The massage table and blankets, although cleaned regularly, are frequently exposed to animals such as cats and dogs, essential oils, and incense. If you have allergies to these items, it is recommended not to use this bed.
- You may receive energy work sitting in a chair; however, it is much more powerful when fully relaxed on the crystal massage table.
- You may arrive early, and the consent forms and waivers before energy work take about 5 minutes to complete.
You are welcome to reserve an energy healing session for yourself or your pets.
I do not send energy to adults that have not directly agreed to receive energy from me (for example, I will not send energy to your spouse, extended family, friends, a person you are dating, etc).
How to Send Photos
If you are receiving a reading over the phone, video chat, text, or email, I do recommend providing a photo to perform your reading, as it helps me establish the strongest connection.
I prefer photos where there is only ONE person/object/pet in each photo.
I do not read from group or couple photos as the energy of each person is not clear.
It does not matter at what point in time the photo was taken,
I do not look at your photos; I hold my hand over your digital photo on my phone with my eyes closed.
After you submit your booking, you will receive my contact details for sending your photos in the thank you message and confirmation email. If you cannot find the email or there are technical issues, please send them directly to brookestarpsychic@protonmail.com.

Although I can read with only a first name, after performing a lot of distance readings in 2020, I can confirm that I have a stronger connection with photos than anything else. So now stronglu suggest this as I want my clients to have the best experience.
I work via “psychometry,” which means that I hold your photo in my hand as a target or focus to perform the reading. If you have some time and want to learn more about this, check out some of the old psychic detective reality shows on Amazon Prime, and you will often see that this is common practice with psychics who work with the police to help them solve cases.
Questions You Can Ask
There is an endless amount of questions you can ask for your personal peace of mind, improved positive outcomes, and spiritual and emotional healing. These are just a few examples to help you prepare for a reading.
- You do not have to ask anything specific at all, just be open to the process and ask what you need to know today.
- Why is my family acting this way towards me?
- Why is my kid acting like this? What can I do to help?
- Why is my friend not talking to me?
- How can I have a better relationship with my co-worker?
Provide digital photos of people on dating apps, social media, etc., that you want to look into the energy connection with. I don’t actually look at their photos; I place my hand over the photo on your phone to make a psychic connection.
- How does this person feel about me?
- Will this connection change/improve?
- What can you do to improve this situation?
- What do you need to know for your highest and best good about this person?
- Who is your highest and best romantic partner?
Bring the names of companies you work with or plan to work with. You can also bring the names of work associates. I will help explain the emotional dynamics in the office that may be confusing.

I scan your body energy from head to toes. I am not licensed to practice in any healthcare field; I do not prescribe, treat, or diagnose specifically, as I am not legally authorized to do so. I will, however, bring up areas of the body to check with your doctor or validate what you already know.

All readings come with options to submit pictures at the time of booking. If you are familiar with any of these reading styles, you can submit a picture of your:
- coffee cup grounds
- tea leaves
- spell candle after it has completed burning
If you would like a mediumship reading, please book a reading with at least 30 minutes in time, with the plan to only focus on mediumship. These readings are slower-paced and tend to take more time than other psychic readings. Prepare by bringing photos of your loved ones, a special object of theirs for me to hold (in person), or sending digital photos. I am not good at receiving names like some of the TV mediums. I prefer to have a name and a person to focus on when I begin the reading. However, additional people may come through connected to that person once we get started.
What Questions Are Not Allowed?
- No gambling
- No questions about the time of death
- Prying too deeply into others’ personal lives with negative intentions for them is not welcome. I call this "digging in the trash". It isn’t enough to just be accurate; I strive to be accurate AND help bring about positive outcomes and solutions. I may frequently help you rephrase negative questions to get better answers.
Our session is private; however, if you are at risk of harming yourself or others, it is my responsibility to report you to the proper authorities.

My Process
- For approximately 10 minutes before our scheduled time, I meditate and clear the space where the reading or energy healing will be performed.
- I pray over you, to connect with God/source, my angels, anyone in spirit with messages of healing, and so on. I pray for accurate and positive answers that you are ready to hear and will help you move forward in life.
- Allow yourself to completely relax. Imagine dropping any walls and opening your heart. Knowing that my messages are primarily positive. You are safe. If they are not positive, we can work through them by asking intuitively for you intuitively what you can do to improve the situation and turn it around.
- I tune into your energy. I may ask to hold your hand in person, for a first name, or a photo to focus on. These are all methods that help me connect with the energy to receive messages more clearly and faster over a phone reading. Sending your photo in advance may be helpful to avoid taking up time during your session.
- I do not wish to know your questions at first. I prefer to meditate and validate our connection. I will usually provide answers related to your questions or something currently happening in your life before you ask them, which can be validating when starting a new session.
- All of my sessions are open-ended, and I use any or all of my training and techniques as guided. You are paying only for my time.
- Better questions get better results. I believe it is your free will and intention that helps me receive answers. If you ask simple, specific questions, I usually receive better specific answers. I often suggest more questions for you to ask.
- In my sessions, I primarily work by psychometry (touching a name or photo) or automatic writing/channeling. I receive clairvoyant impressions, clairaudient messages, and more. I share everything I get, as it usually doesn't make sense to me, but it does to you. I also may work with tarot, oracle cards, pendulum, map scrying, etc., if I feel it will help.

Rescheduling, Refunds, and Cancellations
Refunds
- If you miss your appointment time, you will not receive a refund. I will give you one opportunity to reschedule.
- If I miss your appointment, you receive a full refund.
- If I cannot make a valid connection related to you or your main question, you will receive a full refund. This is extremely rare and is usually sorted out within the first 10 minutes, where I will cancel the call and process a refund. To date, this has only happened when someone is testing me with fake names or pressuring me for unrealistic outcomes, such as answering many complicated questions, pressure to deliver quickly, which does not allow me to relax and tune in.
- If we have technical issues or other unplanned interruptions, I will offer an option to reschedule or add more time to your booked reading so you get the full amount of time you paid for.
- I reserve the right to refuse service and may refund you for any reason.
Rescheduling
